The Garden of Creation

This universe is new, and the edges are not yet filled in.

Tumultuous waves crash against the shore while the sun chases the moon across the sky, each still longing for the eternal moment just before they were forever divided into distinct aspects of reality. Creatures emerge from the verdant fog—skittering, slithering, scattering—not knowing which of them will eventually settle into known species, and which are one-off experiments doomed to a brief and singular existence. Everywhere the chaotic noise of creation echoes against itself, the cries of a newborn world. 

Perhaps there is a plan. Perhaps this is all a grand accident. It’s impossible to know. History and context are realms of the future. 

Here there is only Now, and You, and the Garden.

The Garden of Creation is a system agnostic TTRPG setting supplement and may be combined with any TTRPG system in order to set your campaign at the beginning of existence.

This 8-page booklet includes: randomization tables to help situate your characters in this new universe, determining when, where, and by whom your character believes they were created; an optional rule for something new to be created nearby any time a player rolls a 1 on any roll, and a matching randomization table to determine what's been created; three plot seeds to inspire a campaign in the setting; and three "Principles of Creation" to help guide your game and keep the spirit of creation alive.
